Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Planner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be from a site engineering background in civils, groundworks and or RC frame and will play a crucial role in supporting supply chain operations, ensuring efficient planning and execution of processes. This position is perfect for individuals looking to develop their skills in supply chain management and gain hands-on experience with industry-standard systems, including SAP.
Duties
- Assist in the development and implementation of supply chain strategies to optimise inventory levels and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights for effective planning decisions.
- Monitor inventory levels, analyse trends, and forecast demand to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
- Utilise SAP software to track orders, manage inventory, and generate reports for management review.
- Participate in regular meetings to discuss planning activities, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the senior planning team in vaticinating future needs based on historical data and market trends.
- Maintain accurate records of all planning activities and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Experience
- A site engineering background and some experience in supply chain management or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills within the planning domain.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
